A couple’s five year anniversary unravels as the unconditional nature of their love is put into question. When the question of posed of whether one would love the other were they to be transformed into a worm, the answer becomes hauntingly clear: they wouldn’t. Even through theoretical inter species couple’s counseling and attempts of intimacy, the romance is gone. The pair ends their relationship, leaving their partnership in tatters, their engagement ring swallowed, and their love thrown out the window.
