When Bess Got in Wrong
Bess just can't help flirting. This makes Lee sore. Wherever he takes her, it's the same old story; she flirts and they quarrel. The climax came when he takes her to a party. She had promised she would not flirt with a soul, but what's the use. She and Lee quarrel and are parted. To spite Lee Bess lets three boys promise to take her home, neither boy knowing the other's intention.
