There are parts of my being that have always misaligned with what it means to be a man, each ritual passage through the bathroom door never feeling quite right. Patterned using generic men’s clothing items from my personal wardrobe, I assembled a paper copy of a black long sleeve shirt and pair of denim pants—using green panting tape in lieu of thread—in an attempt to somehow turn myself into the monster.
