During the COVID-19 pandemic, a group of women domestic workers in Istanbul did something quietly remarkable: they organised their own shuttle service – a servis – to keep getting to work when public transport failed them. What began as a practical solution soon became something more: a shared space of solidarity, mutual care, and resilience in the face of precarity.
