L'ombre de Remouchamps [The Shadow of Remouchamps] is located between the sound of speeding cars and the whispering of trees. Man lives in between, he looks, he listens. A concrete object stands in front of him, intrudes, breaks the silence. It gives a pause for thought, forces one's gaze upwards. A shadow hangs over this landscape, a scar for its inhabitants. The film is a document of this, but also of the look that this shadow gives us.
