From a distance the city is watched

Almost all of this film was shot in 40 minutes in the tallest building of Quebec City, which looks over (or overlooks) the landscape. The history of this country's 'development' is so recent, and spectres of the cultures that have been displaced/lost/murdered are paid lip service and nothing more. Yet they continue to haunt nonetheless. There is a haunting here too.
