Hi8 to digital video; color; sound; 24 minutes 56 seconds. In “Bimini”, I collaborated with my father, focusing on alcoholism, and methods of addiction treatment. The video shows my father recording himself performing the steps to make a bimini at his canvas shop, which would later be the prototype for a series of sculptural wall painting installations of the same name.
