"Banshee" (Part One) Overview Premise: The first half of the gritty, action-packed Cinemax series introduces Lucas Hood (Antony Starr), a recently paroled master thief who assumes the identity of a small-town Pennsylvania sheriff who was about to take up his post. In the secluded, Amish-country town of Banshee, he must maintain this dangerous charade while reconnecting with his former lover and partner-in-crime, Ana (Ivana Miličević), who has reinvented herself as Carrie Hopewell, a local wife and mother.
