This Christmas, S4C will broadcast Star Wars: Gobaith Newydd — the first official Welsh-language dub of any Star Wars film, produced by Lucasfilm and Disney with the Welsh Government's backing. Matthew Rhys voices Han Solo. Rhys Ifans is Obi-Wan Kenobi. It's a genuinely unprecedented event: the first Star Wars indigenous-language dub built as a national broadcast, not a community screening.
