CinemaCon 2026 Starts Sunday — Here's Every Major Reveal to Watch For
The biggest movie industry event of the year kicks off April 13 in Las Vegas. Avengers: Doomsday footage, Dune Part Three, Spider-Verse updates, and more. Here's your complete guide to what's coming.
CinemaCon 2026 starts this Sunday, and if you care about movies at all, you're going to want to pay attention to what comes out of Las Vegas this week.
Every major studio is presenting. The reveals are going to be massive. And at least one of them might break the internet. Let's walk through the schedule.
Monday, April 13 — Sony Pictures
Sony kicks things off with a two-hour-plus presentation. The headliner? Spider-Man: Brand New Day is still fresh in theaters, so expect extended footage and box office celebration. But the real draw is any update on Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse — the animated sequel that's been in the oven for a while now. If we get a trailer, the internet won't survive the night.
Tuesday, April 14 — Warner Bros.
Warner Bros. brings "The Big Picture" — two hours of reveals. The likely lineup is stacked: Supergirl footage from the new DC Universe, Mortal Kombat II (which has been generating serious buzz), and the big one — Dune: Part Three. Denis Villeneuve completing the trilogy is one of the most anticipated events in sci-fi cinema. Any footage shown here will dominate conversations.
Also on the table: first looks at Clayface (yes, a Clayface movie), Practical Magic 2 with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman returning, and Godzilla x Kong: Supernova.
Wednesday, April 15 — Universal & Amazon MGM
Double feature day. Universal leads with Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey — easily one of the most anticipated films of the decade. Whatever they show, it'll be dissected frame by frame. Minions & Monsters gets a push, and we might see first looks at Werwulf and the Meet the Fockers sequel nobody asked for but everyone will watch.
Amazon MGM follows with their growing slate: I Play Rocky (the Stallone biopic), a Madden movie, and a Thomas Crown Affair remake. Plus expect a big push for Masters of the Universe after the He-Man trailer already made waves.
Thursday, April 16 — Paramount & Disney
Save the biggest for last. Paramount opens the morning with their slate. But the main event is Disney's afternoon presentation.
This is the one. Disney is expected to show exclusive Avengers: Doomsday footage to exhibitors. If you've been following the MCU's rebuild under the Russo Brothers, this is the moment we find out if the hype is justified. Descriptions will leak within minutes. The discourse will be deafening.
Why CinemaCon Matters
CinemaCon isn't a fan convention. It's where theater owners go to see what they're selling. That means studios bring their absolute best footage — stuff they trust to convince people that theatrical cinema is still worth investing in.
The reveals here often set the tone for the entire summer movie conversation. Last year's CinemaCon gave us the first real look at several 2025 hits. This year? The stakes are even higher.
I'll be tracking every presentation and breaking down the biggest reveals as they drop. Stay tuned.
