Remember the gap between the Original Trilogy movies? Giving stories time to breathe builds anticipation and ensures the payoff is actually worth the wait.

For those of us obsessed with the lore of the World Between Worlds, the Mortis gods, and Thrawn's impending threat, it's frustrating. But looking back at the prequel trilogy's pacing or the careful culmination of The Clone Wars, Star Wars has always thrived when creators are given the time to tell the story right.
